Extract images from Adobe PDF files

"I have downloaded a trial version of Acrobat X, I can select image and that is as far I get. Also I need to know how to save that image as a separate file."

"Does anyone know of a free program that will allow me to extract images and maybe text from an adobe .pdf file? I get lots of web results offering free trial with limitations like 'will only extract the first 3 pictures' but i want an unlimited version to use staight away! Any help?? "

First, you really can try to do a "print screen (capture)", then go to what ever photo editing software you have, paste it, then crop the picture. Like snagit 9/10, it is very easy to use, just select the image , then save to jpg etc if there is not much image you need to extract, snagit is the most easy one.

Fourth, Open a PDF File in a Graphics Program. If image extraction is your goal, you can open a PDF in some illustration programs such as newer versions of CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator and save the images for editing and use in desktop publishing applications.
